Bridal Shower games

To continue on the post I wrote on bridal shower themes, here are a few fun games and activities that I think are not too cliche, but will keep you and your guests entertained.

Martha Steward weddings has a great idea of letting guest write on a piece of fabric and then stitching it together as a quilt afterwards. Could be a fab wedding guestbook as well!

Over at BridalShowerGames.com there are tons of fun ideas like "Dress the Bride" where you make a wedding dress out of toilet paper or collecting each guests favourite recipe to make up a recipe book for the bride.
There is even a free printable for Bridal Bingo! How this works is, each guest gets blank bingo card. Then you write down the gifts you think she will receive in each block. As the bride opens her gifts you see how many you guessed correctly and when you have a full row you can shout BINGO! :)

Another fun idea is to have a Bridal Pictionary game. Just like you play the regular version but with a bridal theme, with words like veil, garter, something blue or honeymoon...it could turn out to be an interesting game to play!

There are tons of fun ideas to include both your guests and the bride and make it fun for everyone! :)

Kitchen Tea and Bridal Shower themes

I've always been a bigger fan of kitchen teas or bridal showers, than of bachelorette parties...I don't see the point of celebrating your last moments of singleness if you want to get married. I rather want to celebrate getting married! :) But that's just me.

So since my kitchen tea is coming closer (and hopefully a few important people stumble upon this post) I thought I'd see which themes I like. Here are a couple of cute ideas:

Button Theme:

Style Me Pretty.com featured a chemistry themed bridal shower. If you or hubby to be is into this field of work it could be a fun theme!

So these are just a few cute themes that I think are fun. But the possibilities are endless!
